Last updated: 09.06.2026

Article 1 — Purpose

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale ("Terms") govern the contractual relationship between Elio Ltd, operator of the Eliowebsite (referred to as "Elio", "we"), and any individual or entity making a purchase on the site (referred to as "the customer", "you").

Placing an order on the site constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms.

Article 2 — Products

Elio sells cosmetic and skincare products. The essential characteristics of each product — including full INCI ingredient list, volume, directions for use, and price — are presented on each product page.

Product photos and visuals are provided for illustrative purposes only and have no contractual value.

Article 3 — Pricing

All prices are listed in euros, inclusive of all taxes, excluding delivery costs, which are shown before the order is finalized.

Elio reserves the right to modify its prices at any time; the price applicable to an order is the one in effect at the time the order is confirmed by the customer.

Article 4 — Orders

To place an order, the customer selects the desired products, adds them to their cart, and completes the checkout process through to final payment.

An order confirmation is sent by email to the address provided by the customer.

Elio reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order from a customer with whom there is an existing payment dispute, or in the event of reasonable suspicion of fraud.

Article 5 — Payment

Payment is due immediately upon ordering. Accepted payment methods are indicated on the site at checkout.

Transactions are processed securely by Stripe

Article 6 — Delivery

Delivery times and coverage areas are detailed on our Delivery page

The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the delivery information provided when ordering. Elio cannot be held responsible for delays or failed delivery resulting from an error in the address provided by the customer.

Article 7 — Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with applicable EU consumer protection law (Directive 2011/83/EU, as implemented in national law), the customer has 14 calendar days from receipt of their order to exercise their right of withdrawal, without needing to provide a reason or pay any penalty.

Important exception: in accordance with applicable EU consumer law, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods which have been unsealed by the consumer after delivery and which are not suitable for return for reasons of hygiene or health protection. This directly applies to Elio products whose packaging or protective seal has been opened.

In practice:

  • A product that is still sealed and unopened can be returned within 14 days of receipt.
  • A product that has been unsealed, or whose protective hygiene seal has been removed, can no longer be returned under the right of withdrawal — except in cases of non-conformity or defect (see Article 8).

To exercise this right, the customer must notify their decision before the 14-day period expires.

Article 8 — Defective or Non-Conforming Products

Independently of the right of withdrawal, any product received damaged, defective, or not matching the order may be returned for a refund or exchange, in accordance with statutory conformity and hidden defect warranties under applicable consumer protection law.

The customer has14 days from receipt to report any defect, ideally with supporting photos.

Article 9 — Refunds

Where a withdrawal is valid, or a return is accepted due to non-conformity, the refund is issued within a maximum of 14 days from receipt of the returned product, using the same payment method used for the original order, unless the customer expressly agrees to a different method.

Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility, except in the case of a defective or non-conforming product, where they are covered by Elio

Article 10 — Warranties

Elio products are covered by the statutory warranty of conformity and the statutory warranty against hidden defects, under applicable consumer protection and civil law.

Article 11 — Liability

Eliocannot be held liable for non-performance of the contract in the event of force majeure, postal service disruption or strikes, transport disruption, or any other circumstance beyond its reasonable control.

Information provided on the site regarding product use does not replace professional medical or dermatological advice.

Article 12 — Personal Data

The processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy

Article 13 — Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by European law.

In the event of a dispute, the customer is invited to first contact our customer service. Failing an amicable resolution, the dispute may be brought before the competent courts, or submitted to a consumer mediator as indicated in our Legal Notice.
